CONGREGATE SENIOR HOUSING

As defined by the State of Connecticut, Congregate Housing for the Elderly must provide at least one meal per day in a communal setting, housekeeping and 24-hour security. Residents must have individual apartments that have private kitchens and baths. Communities may also assist in accessing personal care services. There are age and income requirements.
